Our Senior leadership team is made up four leaders who focus on macro level decisions regarding sermon series, outreach and new initiative. The purpose of this team is to pioneer the vision and mission statement.
Meet Our Senior Leadership Team
Ben and Lisa Dobney lead Risen Life Church and have been married for over 10 years and have two wonderful children, Levi and Reuben. They have a heart for reaching lost people and expressing the love of Jesus which transforms lives. Ben and Lisa started their ministry by leading a prevalent youth ministry in Nottingham City centre, later helping pioneer Risen Life Church on the outskirts of Nottingham as Senior Leadership and finally stepping up to Lead Pastors in June 2021.
Kriss and Sophie Barton are Senior Leaders at Risen Life Church. They are heavily involved in all aspects of Leadership and management in the church and support many ministries including discipleship, tech and theology classes. Kriss and Sophie have been married for 3 years and have just started their own family with the birth of their first child, Bella in 2021.
Sophie Barton is married to Kriss Barton and leads our Kingdom Kids Ministry. She is passionate about teaching the kids about the love of God, strong bible principles and helping kids reach their full potential.
Meet Our Church Officers
An alive and active church is vibrant and effective in its community. The church deacons are responsible for serving the church ministries and facilitating the church needs and requirements for Sunday morning services and mid-week events.
Meet Our Church Trustees
The church Trustees are legally responsible for the management and administration of the Charity. This involves overseeing the budget and resources, enduring that all church activities are safe for volunteers and visitors.
Ben has been Leading Risen Life Church for over 2 years and has spent over 12 years in Church leadership. He is also a fully qualified Accountant and manages the Church finance team.
